NTNA Staff & Board Update

Updated: Jun 28

NTNA Staff Update

The NTNA would like to thank and say farewell to Blair Smith, who has stepped down from her role. Blair served as the Administrative Assistant for the NTNA for the past 3 years and stepped into the role of Operations Manager earlier this year. We extend our best wishes to Blair for her future endeavours.

With Claire and Amy as your NTNA team, we will continue to work hard to deliver the high quality netball programs you expect from the NTNA, whilst pushing the boundaries, being bold and adding some exciting new initiatives in 2024.

If you have any enquiries, feel free to contact the NTNA team at info@ntna.org.au or check out our website.

Amy Pedretti

Administrative Assistant

Amy comes to us with 10 years of high level administration experience and she has already hit the ground running (how lucky are we)! Amy is going to be our members first point of contact, as she works with Claire in the day to day operation of our competitions.

Outside of work, Amy is a busy mum of three and is well versed in all things netball - having played herself in WA from Juniors right through to Seniors. Her love for our sport has been infectious, as you’ll find Amy around on Saturday’s with her daughter who plays in our Junior competition.

Amy is your best contact for anything and everything competition related,

including rostering, umpiring, games queries, accounts or venue hire.

Claire Russell Director of Operations

Claire joined the NTNA with a background in marketing management and administration, with experience within both the real estate and architecture industries. She is excited to collaborate with Amy in facilitating the best possible netball environment for our members, as well as fostering relationships with new and current NTNA sponsors, shareholders and the wider community to grow opportunities and funding for our association.

Claire has been involved in the NTNA and netball in Tasmania in a volunteer capacity for many years. In 2022 she joined the NTNA Board of Management as Director of Publicity and Marketing, as well as served the Clovers Netball Club Committee from 2019 to 2023.

You’ll catch Claire out on the court this year, either playing with Clovers (defending their Div 4B premiership 🥇), in the Social 5 Roster or with a whistle in hand at State League, Midweek or Junior games!

Claire is your best contact for management and all operational queries,

as well as any media and sponsorship opportunities.

NTNA Board Update

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Angela Cresswell for her significant input to our Board of Management. Earlier this year, Angela resigned from her position, having served as our Vice Chairperson and demonstrating exceptional commitment to the NTNA during her service.

It is our pleasure to reintroduce our Board of Management for 2024. We welcome Bridget, Terence and Alicia to the team, as we look forward to continuing our work in driving the development of netball in Northern Tasmania!

(L-R) Chairperson - Jacinta Simeoni, Directors - Lisa Jones, Bridget Button,

Terence Johnston & Alicia Curtis

Keep your eye out on our socials and website for updates as we continue season 2024!
