2025 NTNA Representative Program: EOI's NOW OPEN

Whilst the 2024 season has only just wrapped up, we are already looking ahead to next year and are excited to get our 2025 NTNA Representative Program underway!


The NTNA Representative Netball Program aims to foster elite junior talent and community spirit. It's the progression from club netball for those looking at Netball Tasmania pathways and provides a fun and challenging development environment to take your netball to the next level.


All NTNA junior netball players are eligible to stand for selection.


The program is split into age-based squads:

11 & Under - Players born in 2014 (or 2015 and playing in the U11 Roster)

12 & Under - Players born in 2013

13 & Under - Players born in 2012

14 & Under - Players born in 2011

15 & Under - Players born in 2010

17 & Under - Players born in 2008 & 2009


Squads train together and then prior to each Statewide Junior Carnival, Division 1 and Division 2 teams are selected.

Training is held on a Sunday at Hoblers Bridge Netball Centre. Confirmed training dates and Carnival dates still be be advised.


EOI's are now OPEN for players to attend Phase 1 of NTNA Representative Program selections.


2025 NTNA Representative Program: Selection Dates

Phase 1: Sunday 8th December

11 & Under: 10am - 12pm, Court 1

12 & Under: 10am - 12pm, CC1

13 & Under: 10am - 12pm, CC2


14 & Under: 1pm - 3pm, Court 1

15 & Under: 1pm - 3pm, CC1

17 & Under: 1pm - 3pm, CC2


Please note:

  • Sunday 15th December has been nominated as a washout date if Phase 1 Selections are unable to be held on Sunday 8th December due to weather.


  • If you are unable to attend Phase 1, you must fill in an Unable to Trial Form and email it to info@ntna.org.au by 3pm, Friday 6th December.


  • Athletes are to wear white tops and black shorts/tights for trials. No club uniform to be worn. Each athlete will be given a ID number for the duration of the selection process that be written on both arms/legs for trials.


An email will be sent shortly after Phase 1 to all athletes in attendance advising if they have advanced to Phase 2 of selections, which will be held on Sunday 2nd February 2025 (with Sunday 16th February nominated as the washout date if required due to weather).

The NTNA is also calling for Expressions of Interest for Coaches and Assistant/Apprentice Coaches for the 2025 Season.


Coaches must hold a Development or higher accreditation, and Assistant/Appreciate Coaches may hold a Foundation accreditation.



Coaching an NTNA Representative Team is a very rewarding experience and a fantastic opportunity to develop your coaching in a high performance environment.


We are looking to appoint an assistant coach to each team to help provide more opportunity to those looking to grow as a coach and learn from our experience NTNA coaching pool.
