Looking to umpire a netball game or learn how to be a bench official? There are a variety of ways to begin to learn the roles that help us officiate a netball game.
Umpire
All umpires need to pass the online umpires exam before they can commence. There are various grades you can be assessed for as you gain more experience. We have various opportunities to learn to umpire whether you are a beginner or experienced. Mentoring is available. Umpires are paid according to their Badge Level.
Bench
Bench officials generally operate for our State League games that are conducted Netball Tasmania. We look forward to including this in our top NTNA Competition level in the near future. If you are interested in learning this role we would love to hear from you. Bench officials are paid according to their Badge Level.
